A definitive account of what was effectively the Hanoverian army in exile. Originally composed of German volunteers from King George III's Hanoverian domain, and founded out of Royal outrage at France's occupation of Hanover in 1803, the King's German Legion was a mini-army in its own right, comprising infantry, cavalry and artillery." Soiling to the cloth, old tape reinforcement over interior hinges, some foxing on 2 of the color plates, else very good, bindings strong, internally clean, pages bright white with light foxing only appearing at the vicinity of some plates.
