The book explores the relationship she had with her devoted assistant, Annie Sullivan, who was using her for her own gain or allowing Helen to express her brilliance through her. The author looks into Helen's other life, with its intrigues, doomed marriages, love affairs, and battles against physical and mental infirmity. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
