Parsons & Sons, 1908, 8vo., 5 3/4" x 8 1/2", 130pp., illustrated with full color and b/w plates and four leaves of color samples for Parsons paints. Green cloth with gilt stamped cover design and titles. Thomas Parsons were manufacturers of varnishes, Japans, enamels and fine colors, who began trade in the eighteenth century. Wear at the tips and spine ends, else very good. Rubber stamp of trade distributor Peerless Dennis & Co., Eastbourne on title page, front pastedown and verso of plates. Scarce in first edition.
