A really excellent copy of the first edition of Owen's fascinating book. Owen – a Franklin descendant with access to family papers- looks to solve the mystery of Franklin who vanished into the ice with his ships Erebus and Terror, leaving an enduring mystery.
Pages are clean and bright with just the minimal natural wear. No inscriptions or markings at all. Boards are tight and clean. Binding is excellent, just the very slightest lean. DJ is unclipped and in a very good state with just minor shelfwear and rubbing, and a few indents on the rear cover.
