About This Item
New York: St. Martin's Griffin, 1997. First paperback edition. Paperback. Very Good. Signed by the author. Dorothy L. Sayers was a brilliant writer, dramatist and thinker. She was a close friend of C. S. Lewis but she was not hesitant to take him to task when she felt he needed it. Author Barbara Reynolds was a friend of Sayers who finished Sayers' translation of Dante which was unfinished at Sayers' death. We include Sayers in our Inklings category even though she was not an Inkling. This is because of her close association with some of the members of that group. This is a nicely illustrated book by an expert of Sayers.Signed on the half title page. Ex-library with much of the usual library spore. Full refund if not satisfied. Shelley and Son Books specializes in C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien & the Inklings. Full refund if not satisfied.
