About This Item

The book will be most useful to those who have a working knowledge of Hebrew and Greek. Thomas W. Overhold reviewed this work noting "the thoroughness of McKane's textual criticism and of his view of the composition of Jeremiah 1-25 make this book of great value." He goes on note that his interpretation is always well reasoned and consistent. In short, one of the finest of late 20th century commentaries, essential for the scholar and any serious library collection.
