Glasgow, Scotland: Brown, Son & Ferguson, Ltd., Publishers, 1969. 2nd Edition . Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. xi, 421pp w endnotes, appendices and index. Unpaginated plates including frontis collated to index. Green cloth w white-gold lettering to spine. Tiny surface scuff to corners and tail, bumping to head. Binding square and sound. Illustrated DJ is clean showing small tear to head and surface scuff to front panel affecting the illustration. As well, previous owner has neatly trimmed top and bottom edges w masking tape (3/8") to guard against edgewear and reinforced backside of the spine and fore edges the same (not visible). DJ now preserved in mylar cover. Octavo: 227 x 170mm. Originally published 1959, this is the second edition, 1969, stated.
