Paperback. Eyre Methuen, A Methuen Paperback. UK. 1976. 'The Complete Plays' by Joe Orton. This book is a first edition in this format which contains every play Joe Orton wrote before meeting a violent death in 1967 at the hands of Kenneth Halliwell who he had met in 1951. The book is in great condition. Richard Lindner's 'Untitled Number Two is reproduced on the front cover which is clean, bright and sharp looking with very minor rub to tips. Spine is clean, bright and whilst there is a very fine line down the spine, it is unbroken. Back cover is also very bright. Fine line of rub to outer hinge but covers overall are near fine. Contents: clean and unmarked. The plays contained in this volume are: Loot; What The Butler Sawl; The Ruffian on the Stair; The Erpingham Camp; Funeral Games and The Good and Faithful Servant. Not exlib and packed and sent with care. (1)
