Bound in publisher's original illustrated stiff wraps with clear plastic dust cover. Sewn binding. Illustrated throughout with 129 black & white reproductions and one two-panel color reproduction. Edited and published by Kao Ling-mei. Text in English and Chinese. English text by Yao Hsin-nung. Text includes Foreword, Gems of Professor Chang Dai-Chien's Talks on Painting, and Chronological Notes. Top and leading edges of text block lightly foxed. Binding excellent. Original plastic dust cover lightly rubbed with some pitting and scoring. Former owners' names and date written in blue ink on copyright page (in position of title page, due to reverse Chinese format). "#104" in marker and scar of sticker removal on Chinese copyright page (verso of "front" wrap). Else, no internal markings.
