Very Good/Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. xxvi, 280pp, large section of black and white photographic plates in rear, various other illustrations, fold-out map in rear. Red cloth-covered boards, gilt publisher's logo on front, gilt titles on printed black spine label. Top text block edge sprayed black. 4to. A large and heavy volume requiring an additional charge for overseas delivery. Spine faded where there is dust jacket loss, rubbed spine heel, lightly bumped bottom edges. Top text block edge colour fading and tanning, remain edges tanning with some foxing on fore edge. Text block dropped, volume still tight. Endpapers starting to fox . Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket spine sun-faded, has shelf wear, some closed tears to top, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, not price clipped.
