About This Item
L. C. Page & Company, 1931. Hardcover. Very Good in Very Good DJ. 2nd impression, April, 1931, very good + hardcover is brown with gilt letter and decoration to cover an dspine that shows a previous owner bookplate at front past down and some other very light trace wear, in the hard to find very good dust jacket that shows mild exposure toning along spine, mild soil, a small eraser size open chip that blocks out the S in author's name at spine, and edge wear that includes short closed tears and shallow open chipping. 350 pages with map and 32 plates from original photographs. Still a pleasing copy in jacket of this work that "..is not a biography...not a guide book...not a travel book", but "all three of these in one.
