Moderate rubbing and soiling to gilt on spine and top and bottom page edges. Else fine and no other signs of shelf wear.

Also discoloration to rear board and spine from same liquid exposure. Previous owner's name on front endpaper, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. Very slightly slanted spine but binding remains strong on the whole.

A few illustrations have been colored with crayon along with writing in crayon on back endpaper. One large bump along fore-edge of front pages. Hinges are cracked and some pages started to separate near bottom. Boards wear around all edges. Spine ends are fraying at the corners.
