np: np, nd. Very good +.. An uncommon movable sand card showing Santa filling a glass with rye whiskey to recto and captioned: "XMAS CHEER FOR SANTA." The glass fills with sand when the card is rotated. Verso depicts Santa urinating in a chimney and captioned: "HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN." The chimney fills with sand as the card is rotated. Humorous. Rique for the period, likely circa-1900. Color lithographed card, measuring approximately 3 1/2" x 2 5/8". Interior of card filled with sand. Small windows to recto and verso fill with sand when card is rotated. Sand intact. Mild wear. Overall well preserved.
