In a custom slipcase (calf lined interior) with striking black marbled papers, slipcase edges trimmed in matching black leather, trivial shelfwear to the slipcase only. This is the correct binding for this book, miniscule wear only. There is a pencil signature of a former owner on one of three binder's blanks that precede the book. The 1872 text is fine -- an unusually beautiful copy, bound in the original wrappers. From the library of Paris book dealer Marc Loliée. If you are looking for a great copy of Rimbaud's masterpiece, this is about as good as it gets. // (192 x 123 mm), 53 pp. // [Translation] // Plein maroquin janséniste noir, doublures de maroquin rouge, dos à… Read More
