4th state with painted labels and Bobbs on the spine, main title page is black ink making this a 4th or later printing(not sure what a 5th printing is maybe that is when they add they information). covers faded and the spine more, but the titles are very readable(red). wear to the corners and bottom edge, bottom spine has fraying, top spine is just beginning. The is very tight almost unread, book is also very square and clean.Rubbing to the edges, very tiny spots here and there. If cloth was redyed would make a decent replace, otherwise it is a nice Gap Filler for the price.

If you collect Evan Hunter or Ed McBain or half a dozen other names that Salvatore Albert Lombino, used during his career that started with a bang with "The BlackBoard Jungle". Then this title should be in your collection. This book has nor defects other than minor shelfwear to book or DJ, its an excellent copy. No marks unread tightness and very square. A collectible to go in your collection.

LIGHT ORANGE WRAPS WITH LIGHT SMUDGES/SOILING AND A SCATCH OR TWO.A SMALL WRINKLE SPINE(FACTORY DONE),THIS IS A LOT BETTER THAN THE VG CONDITION.

ONLY DEFECT I SEE IS A PREVIOUS OWNER INSCRIBED ON THE HALF TITLE PAGE "To Dawn Love Mother 1962".. The book is otherwise extremely clean, unread tightness, very square. Amazingly nice to be this old.DJ price is intact, but has shelfwear and small chips at the extreme edges, and minor rubbing to the edges as well. Still nice.

ALL DEFECTS ARE SHOWN IN PHOTOS. Slight bump to top rear corner, slight wear to bottom front corner, bottom spine is bruised, Author has signed with signature only on the Main Title page. This is a 3rd printing of the original version(1st ED). Book is unread tightness, very square and clean. Nice collectible, affordable copy.
