Excellent condition except for some very minor staining on title page and slight wrinkling of upper edges of first8 pages. Binding clean and tight. Complete with all maps in pocket of the book. First edition. illustrated by B&W photos. Fold out map and large folding map in rear pocket are in excellent condition.

Original in very good condition including all fold out cross sections and maps. It was bound into library boards using tape at the Harvard University Library of Comparative Zoology. Cover bears library embossing.

Marked as number 43,932 and a gift from Samuel Henshaw, March 22, 1916. This is probably the same Henshaw who was director of the Museum from 1912-1927. Although the book itself is in very good condition, the edges of the library boards are frayed and edges are missing.

This is an original with some historical significance and is priced accordingly.

Bright, tight and unmarked book in excellent condition consistent with its age. Book shows no ISBN numbers as expected for a pre-1970 pub date. Pages and illustrations are bright and vivid. Near fine condition except for dust jacket. Dust jacket shows signs of wear and possibly sun bleaching on the spins consistent with having been on a bookshelf.
