Description:
A pamphlet to accompany the dramatic 'installation' of the same name at Chisenhale Gallery in 1986. A strange mix of catalogue entries and obtuse texts of a contextualising nature.Published by Unpopular BooksThe show had been obtained as part of Stefan Szczelkun's residency at Chisenhale Studios alongside Mona Hatoum. I decided on a collaborative show with some of the liveliest minds I knew at the time. The Art in Ruins duo took leadership, with the title, but may not have contributed the main elements of the installation much of which is not illustrated or described in this pamphlet. If you are interested in this write me why and we might be able to haggle over the price. https://chisenhale.org.uk/exhibition/ruins-of-glamour-glamour-of-ruins/
