Chicago: Queer Nation, 1991. Exceptionally rare ephemera: a poetry anthology from the "1st Annual Gay Pride Queer Art Show," which was presented in 1991 by Queer Nation/Chicago and Bucktown Fine Arts and displayed the work of more than 50 artists. The book features poetry by Bruce Bagemihi, Don Bapst, Brian E. Bengston, Gavin Geoffrey Dillard, Robert Klein Engler, Damien Fosse, Scott Green, Stephen E. Houldsworth, Stephen E. Mead, Achy Obejas, Frank O'Brien, Mindy Rice, Sheree Slaughter, Christina Sunley, Kitty Tsui and Sara Fran Wisby. The compiler of the Review was long-time Chicago gay activist, Nathan Mason. As of 2023 Mason is Curator of Exhibits and Public Art for the Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events. His duties for the City of Chicago include curating the City Gallery in the Historic Water Tower, the Chicago Cultural Center, various outdoor scattered-site installations and Percent-for-Art commissions.
