An exciting beginning with a balloon losing air and crashing and the gondola smashing into the hard ground, bouncing and coming to rest only feet away from a gas storage tank.

Dal Richards teams up with Jim Taylor to recount his life story as a legendary bandleader. A previous owner has affixed a sphere on the front endpaper, similar to the sphere in the book. Matching d.j. with some chipping.
