Little, Brown and Company publishers. 1989. Martha Grimes is an American author writing British mysteries and doing them well. Her Richard Jury character is well received and not unlike PD James main character but with a lovely and fun supporting cast. Book has a partially removed owner stamp on FEP otherwise it is tight and very clean. Stated first edition although probably a later printing. Original dust jacket is complete. No rubbing or loss.

Dodd, Mead and Company publishers. 1958 Very nice first edition book in original boards and original dust jacket. Not ex-lib, no ownership marks. Pages are clean, tight and complete. Dust jacket has small loss to top and bottom spine affecting the publisher's name on bottom. Some small additional loss on bottom back cover and edges. Cover once creamy is now a bit browned. Overall a very nice book in mostly complete jacket.

The Book Club Collins 1959 Issued by the book club in later years it still comes with an attractive original dust jacket. Both in near fine condition. No ownership marks, no writing of any kind. Pages are tight, bright and clean. Dust is protected in a clear cover that as near as I can tell can be removed, carefully. No clipping, not ex-lib
