For 146 weeks from 20th October 1974 to 10th July 1977 'Ned Kelly', lovingly researched and re-created by Monty Wedd, was serialised in the 'Sunday Mirror'. This first book edition republishes the serial as a graphic novel on quality paper with substantial introductory background and ending with a transcription from Hansard honouring Wedd after his death in 2012.

A little rubbing to lower edges of boards and head and foot of spine, in an early price-clipped dust-jacket (with The Children's Library series advertised on the rear flap) which has small chips to the head and foot of spine, a clean tear to the head of the front panel and a longer tear to its foot, short tears and a small chip to its rear panel, but which has preserved the cover of the book in sparkling condition.
