VG - VG+. 1959 Corgi SN472, film tie-in edition, first printing. Softcover. Basis for film set in San Francisco dealing with the difficulty of being in a mixed race relationship. While I'm not questioning the overriding issue, I think it's odd to use San Francisco (a very tolerant city on a relative scale) as the setting. I'm a Bay Area native and I had not heard of this film (or book) which also surprises me. Usually even the smallest projects get lauded or demonized here for how they portray the city. Book has light corner creases + a slight spine lean.
