"Mather's authorship of this book is established by his letter of June 12. 1722 to Thomas Prince, who put the work to press. Mather had mentioned Fleet as a possible printer, but it came forth without any printers name attached. The typography strongly resembles the work not of Thomas Fleet but of Samuel Kneeland.
