Item Is in VERY GOOD to GOOD condition with some normal minor shelf wear for a vintage hardback.The pages inside have no highlighting, but there are some notations, underlining, and some margin writing from the previous owner on a very few pages; the notes are mostly in pencil and do not interfere with the text. These marks are mostly in the introduction and the war correspondence sections on 5 or so random pages-it's not many. Some note-marks on two random pages are pen, but they don't interfere with the text, and are on only 2-4 pages.There are a few minimally dog-eared pages where the owner made notes. Otherwise the inside pages have no rips, tears, spots, or any water damage.The dust jacket is in VERY GOOD condition with one dent on the bottom back edge and top middle, but no scratches or tears; it has minimal fraying along the top and bottom back edge, and at the top and bottom edge of the spine, but all is minor.some yellowing on outer edges. Limited to 200 copies printed by Richard J. Hoffman. Inside pages in very good condition: no yellowing except on outer edges of pages, yellowing does not extend inward to text. No writing, highlighting; no dog-earing, rips, or tears. Some tiny spotting/marks on first few pages. No dust jacket. Outside boards in good condition with no dents, but some fraying and shelf wear on cover edges and corners, particularly on bottom. Spine good, unbroken, tiny fray at bottom.
