DJ: edgeworn, small closed tears at edge, 1/8" soil spot on front cover. Front cover illustration features boy with knapsack greeting Native American boy at seashore. The story tells of a young boy who became lost at sea, ended up living with a Quaker family in New Jersey, running away to live with Indians, and experiences many small boy adventures in Americn History pd. of 1760's.

Dark red HC with yellow lettering outlined in black. Black lettering on spine. Shows little wear; light wear and bumping to corners, bottom back and top front corners are peeking through; very light wear to bottom and top of spine. Light crease in spine. Pages are clean, binding is sound.

Some soiling to cover but I believe it could be cleaned. Some light spots on edges of gilded pages. Full color Dali illustrations. Binding is tight and pages are clean. Superb. Oversize, l additional shipping charge.

DJ: Orange with crucifix illustration. Very light wear. First novel of Langguth. Constructed as series of episodes in which Jesus and his teachings proceed through various incarnations and crucifixions down to the present. Each can be read as an entitiy and many are full of a kind of off-beat wisdom. Psychologically, the book proceeds from a Jesus who is primarily concerned with the data of his own life and hours toward a beleaguered Jesus whose mind has come to rest on final things.
