Description:
Cambridge, MA: New Directions, 1949. This bi-lingual edition is limited to 3,000 copies. It is dated April, 1949. This is a rare copy signed by Whicher. The "dust jacket" is a clear vinyl cover on which is printed the title and author [which are not printed on the actual hard cover beneath). The vinyl has an inch long cut in the upper front. All the printing can be read quite clearly. The front free endpaper (on which the author's signature appears) has been browned because of some type of paper which probably resided there for a time. Otherwise the book is Very Good. Rare to find a signed copy of this nicely produced effort from New Directions.. Signed by Author/translator. Limited Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
