English title translation, "A Death from the Series Death and the Maiden" which was awarded a gold medal in the 1906 Paris Exhibition in the Palais du Travail. This impression bears "Original Radierung (Etching)" along lower plate-mark. August Bromse was a Bohemian German etcher and painter active in early 20th century.
