A story of Arctic exploration and life among the Eskimos, written for children and centered around the adventures of Peary's 6 year old daughter, Marie "Ahnighito." At rear, laid in and pasted on are three news clippings spanning decades and relating to the Peary family: "Peary's Daughter Marries Mariner," "To Unveil Peary Memorial" (dated in ink 1922), and "Peary's Grandson Killed" (dated in ink 1946).
