Engraved title cut by "RM" and 7 further cuts (4 of which are also by RM) throughout text. Lightly soiled; edges nicked & creased with minor loss; uncut and unopened. The triptych title cut features scenes copied from a 1760s London broadside "The Valiant Apprentice"; RM identity remains is unknown but may be one Macgregor who called himself an engraver and lived in Whitehaven in the latter half of the eighteenth century and whose cuts are known to be based on London broadsides of the late seventeenth century. Rare- ESTC records just 2 copies. Ann Dunn the printer was the daughter of Whitehaven's first chapbook printer John Dunn, and was responsible for numerous publications in the late eighteenth century.
