Description:
First edition. First printing, with no additional publications mentioned on the copyright page, and with the assistance of Rose D. Friedman on the title page. In the unclipped, first issue dust jacket with $3.95 on the front flap. A near fine copy. A little offsetting to the front pastedown and foxing to the first free endpaper only. The contents crisp and unmarked throughout, only with occasional (and imperceptibly faint) erased pencil underlinings. The blue topstain largely faded. In a very good dust jacket, with a little chipping and edge wear, as well as foxing to the verso. A very bright, attractive copy overall. A monumental work in economic thought, in which Friedman champions the free market. In liberal society, he argues, economic freedom is imperative for political and personal freedom.
