Some underlining, mostly in chapter two, less in chapter one, and little, if any, beyond that. Some check marks in the margins where the underlining is located. A good research or reading copy that is very serviceable.

On the spine of the book is a pasted on dewey decimal number and on the bottom of the pages is a library stamp. The same library stamp is inside the back cover and on the dedication page. The beginning of separation from the spine is occuring at the bottom of the book near the front cover. This work is the story of Harry Orchard who admitted to being a multiple murderer, arsonist, dynamiter, thief, wife deserter, liar, bigamist, and would-be kidnapper. He confessed to eighteen murders, and attempted assassinations of high level political figures, including the governor of Colorado, all of this at the direction of a labor union known for its extreme violence. Illustrations are pencil drawings that form a harmonious counterpoint to the essays. The book actually looks quite a bit better than my description. A serviceable copy.
