London: G. W. Bacon Ltd, 1930. An 18 panel linen-backed map measuring 24 by 18 inches unfolded. The stiff card covers show very light wear and soiling. The coloured map is in excellent condition. The scale is one inch to three miles. Tabbed inside the front cover is an alphabetical index to principal towns, villages and railway stations in Suffolk.

With Index, Gazetteer and Tables of Distances. Printed on linen-backed paper, and measuring 36 inches (92 cm) by 48 (102 cm) inches when unfolded and 8 inches (20 cm) by 9 inches (23 cm) when folded into the boards (which are now worn and very scuffed, the spine being heavily sunned). The linen hinge on a few of the folds has separated, but generally the map itself is in excellent condition. No date of publication shown, but style, type and our prior experience suggest around 1900.

NP: Privately published, No date stated. Paperback. 37 pp.,8vo,,Blue card covers.,Front cover torn nearly off, sunned. Rear cover has small chip & crease to bottom corner and some slight scuffing. There are two Janet Read poems cut from newspapers and pinned (literally) to the last two leaves, perforating paper, and discolouring it with the offset. There is a perforation and offset where a third might have been. Overall, fair to good. Holograph poem, dedicated 'To the Ideal Companion with all good wishes' and dated Sep. 1923 (sic), on verso of title page.

Three titles bound in one volume: (1) GLENFINLAS AND OTHER BALLADS, with a title page showing the publisher as John Sharpe, London, 1812. This title page is immediately followed by a second title page for BALLADS AND LYRICAL PIECES, showing the publisher as James Ballantyne & Co., Edinburgh, 1812, Fourth Edition. Probably Ballantyne used the English sheets for this collection, the pagination for which is pp. [viii], 182. Then follows a second Ballantyne publication, THE VISION OF DON RODERICK AND OTHER POEMS, identified on the title page for this collection as the Second Edition, 1810; and the pagination for which is pp. [11], 164 (followed by three pages of publisher's ads). Edinburgh & London: John Bartholomew & Son. A thirty-two panel linen-backed folding map measuring 76 x 84 cm. The card covers are darkened and creased. A few small (and easily-repaired) holes to the map at the folds, and one small closed tear to the margin (also easily repaired). Overall, in good plus condition. Would look very nice framed. Nicely coloured with a scale of one inch to the mile. No date of publication, but it appears to be from the 1950s.

The first production was in 1933. Members eagerly awaited the production of each year's printed program, not only for the silly photos, but for the risque ones, as well. Many famous Manitobans, and people from the 'other part of the country' were mercilessly skewered by the demented performers, who may have forgotten their lines, but never their beveridge. This offering is the official 50th edition program (complete with full-colour Playboy style centrefold), and the menu for the 50th anniversary dinner. A unique item.
