Two volumes with additional book plates. Volume 1 (1910) and 2 (1914) in hardcover with green cloth. Some scuffing to boards and small defect on front cover of Vol 1 (see picture). Some minor staining on the front and end papers with prior owner incriptions and stamp, "compliments of Abraham J. Palmer 27th District." Volume 1 has a few pages with leaves (flora) present and associated staining - not sure of the intent, but these may be native flora to the bird described on these pages. Occasional pages have some staining throughout; however, bindings are tight and no loose pages are apparent. The book of (loose) plates, dated 1925, is in good condition; the plates are bright and colorful, but have some yellowing and folds near the edges of some. Most (if not all) of the plates are present. First edition hardcover in DJ (not price clipped), mylar protected. Boards with original orange cloth and only minimal wear to edges and near top of front board. Otherwise, both book and DJ in NF condition. Signed by author on title page. An excellent addition to any Vonnegut collection.

Hardcover in gray cloth with dust jacket in very good condition. Binding tight. Overall very good condition.
