Occasional minor fading and creasing to the covers, very good overall. "This booklet replaces B.R. 143 (40), 'The Treatment of Surgical Casualties after a Naval Action,' and has been revised in the light of experience gained since the outbreak of hostilities." An uncommon item of wartime medical and naval ephemera, OCLC shows only one copy, at the National Maritime Museum.

Montréal: La Cinémathèque Canadienne, 1967.. Small oblong 16mo, (62) leaves, printed on one side only. Printed wrappers, stapled as issued, some very minor bumping to corners, near fine. No. 1 of 12 flip-books produced in this series.

London: G.W. Bacon & Co., Limited, 1910.. Second edition. 4to. (iv), (4), 20, 16, 4, 2 pp. Publisher's red cloth, gilt lettered to the upper panel, rebacked to style. Frontispiece illustrating the "flags of all nations", 6 full page maps including individual maps of the north and south polar regions with surrounding universal time charts and 26 double page maps, all in colour. Slight colour bleed onto the endpapers, else very good. The collation includes a general map of Oceania, a general map of Australia and 6 state maps plus a general map of New Zealand plus individual maps of the north and south islands. Although the atlas bears Bacon's London imprint it remains notably scarce outside of Australia. OCLC records one copy of this second edition in the US plus five in Australian institutions. Only three copies of the 1909 edition and a single copy dated 1911 are listed, all in Australia.

A large folding colour printed chart of the world, decorated with 46 flags across the upper edge, six tables of data to the lower edge, a larger inset map of the British Isles plus 18 inset charts, mostly of ports, a pair of inset polar hemisphere maps to the upper corners and two other inset charts, the whole dissected into 24 sections and mounted on linen, folds between the original gilt lettered maroon cloth covers, marbled paper to inner cover and folded end section on linen verso. The covers worn but sound, barring small slits to the edges of one or two linen folds the map itself is very good. The charts are of San Francisco, Auckland, Adelaide, Hong Kong, Hamburg Wellington, Bombay, Tokyo, Calcutta, the Suez Canal, Sydney, Melbourne, Cape Town, New York, Singapore, Buenos Aires, Gibraltar and the Panama Canal. Gilt titled full vellum, folding cloth box, the upper corners of which are bumped, else a fine copy.

[n.p., c.1865].. 8vo. Title and 26 unnumbered leaves. Cloth backed red card boards. Contemporary ownership inscription of a Miss J. Torrens Roy of Skirbeck Rectory, Boston (Lincolnshire) to lower corner of title page. Title with a circular vignette illustration, each of the subsequent leaves with a black and white illustration. Covers worn and creased, contents generally very good. A version of Calverley's poem "A.B.C." and effectively an illustrated alphabet - "A was the Angel of 'charming eighteen;'", "B was the Ball where the Angel was seen" and so forth. Calverley's name and the real title of the poem do not appear anywhere in the volume, the title page bears that above and the author's name as Gandab, the illustator is given as "G.C.R."

Fourth edition. 8vo. xii, 337, (1) pp. Publisher's gilt decorated and lettered dark cloth designed by Rossetti, matching gilt crests added to the boards with further badges to the spine - upper one featuring a clover and a bugle with the motto "Spero Meliora" and, to the foot, a crown surmounting a portcullis, patterned endpapers not featuring any bookplates or other indication of the name of the original owner. Some browning to the front and rear leaves, some mild bumping to the edges, else very good.

Second edition. 8vo. xiv, 234 pp. Publisher's terracotta cloth, black lettered to the spine with matching black decoration across the binding, contemporary ownership inscription to the front free endpaper. A collection rendering Herodotus' Histories into contemporary verse. First published the previous year, this edition with four additional pieces. Neither edition is common.

New York: Errata Editions, 2011.. Large 8vo. (142) pp. Publisher's black cloth, white lettered to the spine, dust jacket. Black and white photographic illustrations throughout. Very good. A photographic reproduction of a work first published in 1945, this edition featuring a short essay by Kerry William Purcell and a biography of Brodovitch.

Boughton Monchelsea, Kent: Ebeneezer Press, [1969].. Limited edition, no. 71 of 100 copies. Folio. 16 folio folded sheets bearing the text and the plates, each of the plates signed by the artist, all printed in colour on Mellotex High White Cartridge using a Cogger press. Original gilt lettered hide spine, heavy English yew boards, the edges of which and the inner covers are stained purple as issued, housed within original purple felt slipcase. An excellent example of a finely executed work. A magnificent and distinctive production, from the yew boards to the printing of the title page and text using blocks manufactured from a single apple tree. Clarke first studied at Beckenham Art School and subsequently the Royal College of Art, where he specialised in illustration and printmaking. This was his first hand printed livre d'artiste.
