Dated January 5th, 1956, 1956. the letter is on Hahn's printed letter-head with a hand-written change to the street address (in Toronto). It is Signed "Mani". 25x 18cm, folded in thirds, fine (n12) A chatty letter, written the year before Emanuel Hahn's passing in 1957, thanking Lawrence Hyde for a book (probably "Land of the Longest Day") by mutual friend, National Film Board film-maker, Doug Wilkinson. He writes of work with the N.F.B., Norman Rockwell, his move, and his wife's work on the sculpture of King George.

(cmt) Around one hundred officers, men & women, primarily R.C.A.F. are grouped, members of No. 3 Training Command formed to implement the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan in Quebec and the Maritimes. Photographed in July, the officers are in summer tan uniforms Commanding prominently in the centre is the Air Officer Commanding. Montreal buildings are faintly seen in the background.
