Item is in VERY GOOD to GOOD condition with very little shelf wear.The pages inside are great with no highlighting, marks, or writing; no dog-earing or bent pages.Fold-Out map on page 433 is in great condition. No dust jacket. The hardback green boards are in GOOD condition with no dents or bent corners, no scratches or tears; there are some light scraping marks from shelf rubbing on the front and back covers from shelf-rubbing, but they are barely noticeable. Boards have minimal fraying along the bottom edges again from shelf rubbing, and at the bottom edge of the spine, but all is minor and hard to see. (Please see pictures as they are part of the description). Overall in VERY GOOD condition.This is a 1972 reprint of the 1896 compilation of histories about the invasion of India by Alexander the Great. Contains Five ancient historical accounts, edited by J.W. M'Crindle, plus appendices and a fold-out map of the routes of Alexander's armies. Fascinating.

The inside pages are in very good condition; no writing, highlighting, marks, rips, or tears. There is some mild light yellowing on the very outer edges of the pages, but none to the text.
