These are 6 excerpts from West Wales Historical Records 1911-1916. In neat hand to second leaf, the title page was specially printed for this, one of only 5 bound sets. Bound in light brown cloth. Some foxing to page edges. Top edge gilt.Bookplate of Evan D Jones who also signs the above explanation.

All illustrations called for present. Some foxing to title page tissue guard and on some other pages. Bevel edged boards in maroon cloth which has some faded areas. Titles on spine readable but faded. 229 pages plus 132 pages of index.

Volume Two (1878-1883) published 1980 with ISBN 0002161893. Both in similar condition, with previous owners' names inscriptions on back of front boards, but with no other additions to the text. Binding secure, and no foxing to the edges of the text blocks, but some to the cover flips. The dust wrapper for Volume One has faded at the spine to a turquoise from a purple. Binding secure. A point to note is that the heights and widths of the volumes don't quite match up. Volume One is 23.5cm x 14.5cm, and Volume Two is 24cm x 16cm.
