In October of 1826, her sister Isabella Louisa married the arctic explorer, William Edward Parry, and in April 1844 she married Albert Way, Founder of the Royal Archaeological Institute. Translated, with the special approbation of the Author, From the Second Corrected and Improved Edition by C. E. The pencil sketching is just visible outside the ink lines. Raebuen Van Buren was inducted into the National Cartoonists Society Hall of Fame in 1979. Measures approx. 6-1/2" tall by 21 inches wide, on hardstock, in a protective mylar sleeve. The attached image shows only a portion of the complete strip.

Chicago, 1892 An 1892 Blotter advertising the Cyclorama of the 1871 Chicago Fire, which "consumed over 125 acres every hour". The Chicago Exhibition of the 50 foot by 400 foot Cyclorama was displayed in 1892-93 in a round building, allowing visitors to have an immersive experience. The back of the blotter shows that it has been used, with flourished penmanship, reading "Wm. Van Rensselaer". Blotter shows light edge wear. Measures approximately 3" tall by 7-7/8" wide, printed in red and black ink.
