"My wife says I shouldn't sign bound galleys... so I didn't sign RV". He requests that his correspondent doesn't "send any more big bags of books" and ends with "Good luck in the 1/2 marathon. Yours, John Updike." Above his note Updike had written "1 call Angela" and above that a cartoon head portrait, both lined out. Small crease across the topedge. Near Fine condition.
