Rare and coveted publisher. This 1939 version not only appeared in the year of world War two, making it even more interesting (given the economic contributors to war in the asian region), but is also one of the most scarce editions, if not the most scarce edition. Some water damage, and first few pages are detached. Binding is good otherwise. Hinges weak/cracked? But not too bad. Overall the structure is fair plus. Cover in great shape cosmetically, as is the spine and back. There is some noticeable wear along the edges and especially corners of the spine. This is a great piece for any collector of economic history or Japanese enthusiast. Also could go into a world war two collection centered around the economics of the war.
