Has some now erased pencil markings. The writings are still faintly visible though. Also 4 small ink marks on side. The book has also has about 4 tears inside. The dust-jacket is in good condition.

In good condition! The book is fresh internally except some small foxing( overall very little). A small waterstained stain on page 111 which is now dry. The binding is holds well. Slightly forward leaning but not much at all. Has waterstains on back. Mark from previous tape on map and name written in ink. Two dog-eared pages from previous reader. There is another name that was written previously on front-free endpage but i erased this with an eraser and it is now barely noticeable. Two what looks like moisturestains on the dragon on front cover. Points of issue for this edition, note: Reprint notice of corrections opposite chapter 1, Only Farmer Giles of Ham on ad card (no Lord of the Rings, published in 1954), and no ad for Lord of the Rings on last page, B in footer of page 17 but nothing on following pages, all indicating this is the 1951 fifth impression edition although no impressions listed on the copyright page

With the classic illustrations. has some small wear and fat-stains including a small fat stain on one board. Beautiful inside though with a built in book marker.

Some small scuffs on spine. Very good. Beautiful binding with built in bookmarker.

Fellowship seventh impression stated in book but 8th impression jacket(possibly later state of seventh impression or 8th? Two towers with original jacket. Return of the king with jacket not stating impression. There is inscription on front-free endpage on all volumes and all volumes are clipped. Otherwise the set is excellent. No bleeding through or restauration in any way on other part of jacket. Fellowship jacket has some minor tears on jacket. All 3 with maps in excellent condition and fresh inside without dog-ears and stains. Superb set

Has some stains on boards. The spines on the books are discoloured and some wear on books. Slipcase ok condition.

First book with incription. Stains on corner of outer cover (two towers)Slipcase with signs of shelf wear.Nice conditions and tight bindings!

All in good condition. Silmarillion is somewhat faded on back but titles and such can clearly still be seen. All in very good condition.

Has name on front-free endpage. Goog green colours on book. Jacket has some darkening and some small tears especially on the lower part of spine. Although this is jut a few centimeters up and the jacket is well-preserved. A nice example.

Dust-jacket superb. Book has previous tape marks (not on jacket at all) and has quite much writing on front-free endpage and also the page next to that one.otherwise in great condition with the map intact in great condition

The book is in good condition. However, half of the front map has been torn away. A little of the title page is a little loose but is completely stuck together to 80-90%. A little wear at the bottom of the binding but the book is firmly held together and it is only a little. A little faded on the back. Pages are fresh. A copy in good condition!.

The book is ex-libris so bound without the map and has stains on several pages also one page and on the print page there is some tape repair. There are some tears internally, one page with a big tear over half the page. The page is though intact and no papper has been lost .Some places with some tape restoration on pages inside. All the illustrations and pages are present. This is an extremely rare book which is very sought after
