Hardcover in blue cloth. Normal shelf wear. Foxing to leading edges and throughout. Former owner's R.G. Venables, Esq. on sticker in front end pages. Other former owner's name written in ink on the information page along with pencil description of book's contents on the facing page. Several book plate illustrations, some of which are fold-out and in color. 12 pages of addendum advertisements for other products from Spencer's Masonic Depot at the end.

George Oliver, D.D. (1782–1867) was an English cleric, schoolmaster, topographer, and writer on freemasonry.
