New York: Ariel Books, 1959 Mint green boards with sunning to the edges. Side black and white profile illustration of a beagle on the front board. Farm scene with a beagle on the end papers. Book plate on the inside of the front end paper with the former owners name.

Grey and white and color illustrations by Tasha Tudor. Inside pages clean and unmarked except for bookplate.

Not price clipped, price upper right hand corner 2.75.

Dust Jacket has a 2 1/2 inch tear next to the spine top corner. Inch tear top edge, edge wear front top of dust jacket cover. Nice to have with the dust jacket which is still very presentable. Two red ink marks on each side of the dog portrait on the dust jacket front.

G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1891 Book in good plus condition. Some bubbling at the edge of the spine, does not get into any of the inside pages. Back board very good. ; Ex-Library; 111 pages.

second printing: J.B. Lippincott company, 1971 Blue cloth boards good, the dust jacket was taped to the book and left tape marks , some dirt and soil on the edges. The book states that it is the second printing.<p>

The dust jacket is in very good condition, mylar covered, not

Has a note from the owner who gave the book as a gift. Apparently it was supposed to be autographed and the pubisher ran out of autographed copies but Gladys Taber sent a signed book plate to the owner, nice to have this note and it shows what a nice person Gladys Taber is. The book has the book plate attached to the first blank page and a small clipping from Butternut Wisdom of a picture of Gladys. The book also has an inscription from the first owner to who she want the book to go to. Another note about a trip with a cat named Mr. Chapin? to Gladys Tabor's home.<p>

Nice to have all these extras.

1925 A beautiful book, brown cardboard wraps with a clear tissue dust jacket, one major edge tear to tissue jacket at the top, one inch. Oval pastedown of a little girl on the front wrap, 75 pages. 8 full page color illustrations, tissue covered, cute illustrations. Signed by the author to Charles C. Colwell who when a little boy was so careful for my comforts with abiding affection from becky tabor. Lots of extras, small card of a girl and two puppies, enclosed in a small manila envelope along with a pamphlet entitled Kiddidears of The Long Ago, pale blue with a string binding also signed by the outhor dated 1924. Also a letter from Mrs E Saeger addressed to Master Charles C. Colwell of Camden N. J. With the date of Aug. 1927. Simon And Schuster, 1945 Book in very good condition, has a couple of faint blemishes, dust jacket in very good condition, not price clipped. No obvious edge tears, small amount of wear at the bottom of the spine. Inside pages clean and unmarked.

Mexico: J P Morgan, 2001 1504 pages. Very heavy. Dust jacket very good condition with some
wrinkles at edges but no tears. Bound in original red velvet cloth.
Pages and photos are clean and bright. A beautiful collection of images
illustrating Mexico's people, architecture, culture, etc. Scarce. Does
not include slipcase, cd or booklet that was included with some copies.
Front inside hinge at the spine cracked. Not a lot of text, mostly full page
photos, but what text there is , is in Spanish.
