The book states an April 1939 publication date on the copyright page. The dust jacket bears the original price of $2.75 and the "first edition " slugs on the jacket flaps.the book is bound tight. There is a previous owner's writing along the top corner of the first free end page. Other than that there is some very light fixing along the edges(please see photos). as mentioned earlier, the original price of $2.75 and the words "first edition " is present on the dust jacket. The jacket is in very good condition with some wear along its extremities.
