Inglewood, CA: Wagon & Star Publishers, 1963. Very good/none as issued. Florance Unkeless. Dion--Number One. Edited by Dion O'Donnol, Wagon & Star Publishers, Inglewood, California. 1963. 35pp. 5.75 x 3.75 inches. Printed string-bound wrappers with light toning and abrasion. Interior is clean save for one inked line in table of contents. Very Good. Small booklet with collection of poems from Lillian Parcell, Vera Hickman, Robert Schaeffer, George Unkeless and others. Dion O Donnol (1912-2007) was a writer of poetry and prose and ran the small press Wagon & Star Press in southern California into the early 21st century. The press published up to thirty books: all fairly scarce. O'Donnol passed away in 2007.

Corps of Engineers. U.S. Army, 1873. Timothy O'Sullivan. Albumen print taken by Timothy O'Sullivan during the Expedition of 1873--Lieut. Geo. M. Wheeler, Corps of Engineers. "Cooley's Park, Sierra Blanca Range, Arizona". Albumen print, 8x10 3/4 inches (20.3x27.3 cm.), on the original Wheeler survey two-toned mount with O'Sullivan's printed credit, title, plate number (No. 5) and the Expedition of 1873 credit on mount recto. Mount and photo in very good condition. Timothy O'Sullivan (1840-1882) began his photographic career working under Mathew Brady and worked as a staff photographer for the North during the American Civil War. After the war he traveled west working first for Clarence King and later with George M. Wheeler. O'Sullivan shot many iconic views of the American west including this well composed view of Cooley's Park in the Sierra Blanca Range of Arizona.
