O'Donnell (self-styled 'Britain's No1 Ghost Hunter) was a prolific writer on ghosts and the paranormal and Dangerous Ghosts is one of his later works. A really excellent copy of the first edition, and rare in this condition. Pages are clean, bright and unmarked with only some foxing spots on the page edges (see photos). Boards are clean and tight. DJ is wonderful: unclipped, with only the most minimal of wear most of which is some rubbing on the rear. Overall, a lovely copy.

A nice copy of Mary Oldfield Howey's examination of the status of the cat in religion and magic over time. Undated but assumed 1929-1930. Pages are overwhelmingly clean and bright, just with spotting on FEP and some slight residue of a damp stain(?) which has left the colour frontis marginally stained at top and a little unstuck at base. However colour picture is still bright and clean (see photo). Residue stain on top of text block (see photo). All other pages very bright and clear, and no inscriptions from previous owners present. Original purple book mark strip is present and intact. Binding is firm. Boards are a little scuffed and are marked (see photos)with some blotches, and the spine a bit darkened. A very nice copy. Pages are clean and bright with just the minimal natural wear. Boards are tight and clean. DJ is unclipped and in a very good state with just minor shelfwear and rubbing, and a few indents on the rear cover. A very nice copy go the first edition of Oxenford and Cosgrave's analysis of the apparent difference in hand features between professions. Contains many black and white illustrations of the palms of a range of vocations. Pages are excellent for this edition: clean, unmarked and just the most minor age wear. FEP is darkened (see photos) bit no other pages are. No notes, inscriptions or foxing. Binding is tight. Boards are clean, just minor crumpling to corners and top and base of spine.
