Hartford: The S. J. Clarke Publishing Company, 1928. Leather. Good. History Of Hartford County Connecticut De Luxe Supplement, Persons And Portraits. While I am not sure exactly where this book originated, due to its statement of being a supplement, it is an absolutely beautiful collection of historical persons from Hartford county, Connecticut. Each person is given a portrait on a full page and a few pages of text to describe their lives. The padded leather is still in great shape with only somewhere to the corners. Pages themselves are also in great shape with no Browning or foxing. Binding and hinges are fully intact. No major defects. Let me know if you have any questions or if you desire more photos. Barbara Nessim, 1975. Cloth. Good. Barbara Nessim. Sketchbook by Barbara Nessim 7 • 4 • 74 in Black. Appears to be an authentic copy of Barbara Nessim's 1975 Sketchbook, this black copy being one of 400 of its kind (950 total). Interestingly, there are no markings on this. That is probably normal with these copies, since they were handed to libraries, friends, journalists, and more. Clearly whoever this was handed to enjoyed her work, but left the book in good condition. The pages are made of very high quality material it seems. I will not pretend to be an expert on this artist or her work, but at a glance it is an interesting mix of abstract yet recognizable concepts. Owner's name on the inside front cover. Some staining and soiling to the spine and outsides of the pages, but the pages on the inside are clean and unmarked. The previous owner, while I could not exactly track him, is possibly a former soldier however likely dod not fight in world war two.
