Description:
The author of the book is Vsevolod Meyerhold (1874-1940). The world-famous theater reformer, Russian Soviet theater director, actor and teacher. Theorist and practitioner of theatrical grotesque and creator of the actor's system, called "biomechanics". The book includes his speeches on the reform of theater and cinema with the aim of their fuller and deeper impact on the viewer, taking into account his psychology and perception characteristics. Mass art must meet the needs of the day and fulfill ideological goals. A copy with numerous edits made in blue pencil. Some words, phrases, paragraphs are crossed out, corrected. The corrections were probably made by the author himself for the unrealized second edition.

Bulgakov Mikhail. Sobachye serdtze (Heart of dog). Moscow., (1925) , 114 sheets (A4 format). In a folder with a clip of the Soviet period.A copy of the samizdat of the famous work of Mikhail Bulgakov, printed on a typewriter.The story was created by Bulgakov in January-March 1925. During a search conducted at Bulgakov's by the OGPU on May 7, 1926, the manuscript of the story was also confiscated from the writer.This text of novel was in Samizdat in USSR from 1930s. The text of the Heart of a Dog (with errors) was transmitted to the West in 1967, against the will of the writer's widow E. S. Bulgakova. In 1968 the text was published in the journal "Grani" (Frankfurt) and in Alec Flegon's journal "Student" (London). The first official publication in Russia was in magazine Znamya in 1987.Condition: some pages are wrinkled, some have torn edges, some sheets have yellow spots, a fragment of the last sheet is sealed with adhesive tape.Rare copy of the underground Soviet book publishing by hand - Samizdat.
