A rather detailed and interesting description, with many illustrations, of the use of concrete in Roman constructions. It appears that there were earlier editions, much shorter, of the work. Probably had a narrow but deep buyer base. The use of the word "beton" (concrete) in the publisher's name would suggest that. Book is in very good condition. $30.00
