The Dustjacket (fun 1920s design), rarely seen, is here in nice condition: minor edge wear to spine crown and a few very short closed tears, otherwise nice and clean with minimal handling wear, not price-slipped. NO fading or annoying defects. Looks very attractive in the mylar sleeve. A nice Lacoste.

Boyd and Boyd's wife gave the book to Richard H. Brown, who has written a full-page explanation of the provenance in pen on the front pastedown, along with his bookplate. Otherwise, the book is free of all marking, nice clean copy.

Also a nice copy of the 1900 Warne printing of More Nonsense, a bright clean copy without notable defects. So VG+ for the first and near fine for the second. A delightful way to read some Lear. These are the long quarto editions that are rather heavy. It;'s unusual to find a nice matching set with uncomplicated binding. Good fun.

This is a rectangular reprint of the poem, with pink paper and white (custom?) wraps and a fold-out of "Ethnic Folk Poem." Condition is near-fine -- just a touch of corner wear.
